Roland H. Myers III
Roland Myers is the president & CEO of the Tennessee Retail Association in Nashville.
Roland is a member of the board of directors of the Tennessee Society of Association Executives (past president, 2018), Tennessee Lobbyists Association (secretary, 2018), and the Tennessee Retail Association. He is a past board president of the Council of State Retail Associations (2014) and The ALS Association, Tennessee Chapter (2010 to 2012). Roland was an ex officio member of the board of directors of the National Retail Federation in 2013 and 2014.
Before joining the Tennessee Retail Association in 2006, Roland served for five years as the director of government relations at the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Nashville. From 1995 to 1999, Roland was the director of legislative affairs for the National Association of Federal Credit Unions in Washington, DC. He was the legislative director for U.S. Representative Tom Barlow of Kentucky (1993-1994), and a legislative assistant for the Committee on Financial Services, U.S. House of Representatives, Washington, DC (1992).
A Memphis native, Roland lives in Franklin, Tennessee. He is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington.
